I will be heading up the chapter of Curvy Girls in Georgia. Curvy Girls is an organization started by Leah Stoltz to help girls who have scoliosis. Members vary from just having been diagnosed with scoliosis, girls who are wearing a brace, girls who are having surgery or girls who have had surgery. I will also be attending the National Curvy Girls Convention which will be held in New York at the end of June. Here I will participate in the fashion show which will help to show girls that they can dress in style wearing a brace or after their surgery. While there I will be speaking and telling my story with scoliosis, as well as listening to world-renowned doctors and therapists about news in the scoliosis field of medicine. I’ll make sure to blog tons of helpful information that I learn about!
