Orphan Sunday

Standard

Today, November 3rd, is Orphan Sunday. It is a Christian initiative to bring awareness to about 200 million children without families. http://orphansunday.org/about/ By giving, praying, and/or sharing these children can have families. Maybe a child with scoliosis can be adopted and then receive the medical attention he or she needs and deserves. Wouldn’t that be wonderful!?!? We all need to remember that children with scoliosis are also children with special needs.

I certainly hope your information on the number of orphaned children is incorrect although one and all are in the hands of the Lord. I do appreciate you bringing light to Orphan Sunday and hope prayers are overflowing. It is always wonderful to remember others especially in consideration of their personal plight and then bringing them before the Lord. Though we are not to do such things for selfish gain or sympathetic recognition(and I am not even hinting that you are), I am confident and trust the Lord is smiling and pleased with your concern and I am greatly overjoyed by your caring heart. Putting another person before our own self is love for God and the love of God. My highest regards.
